Terms of Use for Registered Users (MaPP7)
(Effective from 25 July 2025)-
Introduction
MaPP7 is a psychological assessment service that can be used by representatives of organizations and communities (“Registered User”) by registering for the service.
These Terms of Use apply to all users who create a login account on the MaPP7 website and use the service’s assessment or management functions. -
Formation of Agreement
These Terms bind the Registered User once they register on the MaPP7 website or use the service’s features while logged in. Registration requires a valid email address and the creation of a password; the user is personally responsible for safeguarding their credentials.
If registration is performed on behalf of an organization, the user must be authorized to use the MaPP7 service on that organization’s behalf. -
Service Content
Depending on their access level, a Registered User may invite individuals to complete assessments, process and review results (with the individual’s consent), manage their MaPP7 organization, and utilize other functions appropriate to their role. The Registered User may also participate in assessments personally.
MaPP7 does not replace professional support, such as healthcare; the results of the service are informational in nature. -
User Levels and Roles
USER LEVELS
Master: The organization’s primary administrator with the broadest responsibility for proper use of the MaPP7 system. The Master can invite new MaPP7 users (including Co‑Master, Leader, and User) and/or Individuals to assessments. The Master is also responsible for ensuring that other users within their organization comply with these Terms as well as applicable laws and regulations. The Master has access to and control over all MaPP7 users and Individuals invited by them within the organization.
Co‑Master functions with the same rights but ultimate legal responsibility for the organization remains with the Master.
Leader: Operates under a Master or Co‑Master and can invite User‑level users or Individuals. The Leader is responsible for the actions of their subordinates and manages their MaPP7 permissions. The Leader has access to and control over all users within their sub‑organization as well as the Individuals invited by them.
If multiple Leaders wish to share administrative rights (e.g., during absences), they may grant each other access to their respective sub‑organizations.
User: Operates under a Leader or Master (including Co‑Master). A User may only invite Individuals to MaPP7 assessments and is responsible for their own actions. They have access only to the Individuals they personally invited. Two or more Users may optionally share access to each other’s Individuals for purposes such as covering work duties.
USER ROLES (toolsets)
Basic: Can view their own MaPP7 results, invite Individuals, and view their results.
Intermediate: Includes all Basic tools and the ability to create groups and compare results of multiple Individuals graphically (up to 10 Individuals).
Screener: Includes all Intermediate tools and the ability to search and filter Individuals from larger pools (“Filter” function) based on psychological criteria.
Advanced: Includes all MaPP7 tools, including the creation and management of Campaign Invitations (mass invitation links for large‑scale Individual invitations). -
Pricing
Pricing for organization‑level services is always based on the currently valid price list. All prices are kept up to date on the MaPP7 website and in the online store. Any discounts or contractual pricing must be agreed upon separately in writing. -
Obligations of the Registered User
The Registered User must provide accurate and up‑to‑date information when registering. They are responsible for the use of their credentials and passwords, and these must not be shared with third parties. The service must be used in compliance with applicable laws and good practices. Information or assessment results of other individuals may not be processed in a manner that violates their privacy or rights.
If the Registered User processes data of invited individuals, they must comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling of such data. -
Third‑Party Services
MaPP7 uses certain third‑party technologies (such as WordPress, Elementor, WooCommerce, Stripe, WP Mail SMTP) for functions including payments, email communication, and access management. These services operate under GDPR‑compliant agreements and are used solely to enable the MaPP7 service. -
Intellectual Property Rights
MaPP7’s assessment questions, analytical tools, and other content are the property of AarniNet Oy (MaPP7 team) or its licensors. The Registered User may not copy, publish, or distribute the content of the service without separate permission. -
Limitations of Liability
The interpretations and recommendations provided by the MaPP7 service are informational and do not constitute legal, health, or other professional advice. The service provider is not liable for damages resulting from technical issues, incomplete information, or actions of third parties.
If the service is used contrary to these Terms or applicable legislation, the service provider may restrict access to the service. -
Processing of Personal Data and Privacy
The Registered User’s own data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Notice, and information about cookies is provided in the Cookie Policy.
If the Registered User processes data of other individuals (such as assessment results), they must comply with the requirements of the GDPR and ensure confidential and lawful handling of such data. -
Validity and Amendments
These Terms are valid until further notice. MaPP7 may amend the Terms by providing notice in the service or by email to the Registered User. The latest version is published in the website footer at https://mapp7.com.
If the user does not accept the amended Terms, they may discontinue use of the service and request deletion of their data. -
